Besides bashing Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston also reveals in her December Vogue interview that she and her mother Nancy are slowly reconciling after years of estrangement.
She said they first began talking after Aniston split from Brad Pitt in 2005.
Look back at Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s most romantic moments.
“She’s changed,” Aniston says of her mother, a writer-photographer. “She’s humbled with age. She fell in love. At 73 years old. I’m like, ‘No, no, no, no! I don’t want to hear how great the sex is.’”
When Vogue’s Jonathan Van Meter tells Aniston that she is very good at portraying the bickering and fighting of couples on film, she says, “That is so funny. I just mimic my mother. That woman, when she got
mad, was scary. I don’t know if I ever really get mad in real life.”
Look back at Jen’s men over the years.
Aniston and her mother stopped talking years ago after Nancy gave an interview to a tabloid TV show and wrote the book, From Mother and Daughter to Friends: A Memoir, about their relationship.
“I’ve definitely tried,” she told ABC’s Primetime Thursday in 2004 about trying to reconcile. “I made the efforts, and I’ve sort of started … you know, it’s that stubborn thing of, ‘Well, I tried … I tried enough. Now it’s your turn.’”
