Rep: Beyonce Has Not Signed On For ‘A Star Is Born’ Remake

Beyonce has not signed on for a remake of “A Star Is Born,” a rep for the star told Access Hollywood.
Last week, Mindy Peters, wife of producer Jon Peters, told the Houston Chronicle that the “I Am… Sasha Fierce” singer had signed on to remake the 1954 movie, which originally starred Judy Garland.
However, when contacted by Access Hollywood, Beyonce rep called the story “completely false.”
“There was no offer,” Beyonce’s rep told Access.
Beyonce is currently starring as Etta James in “Cadillac Records.” Next up for the singer and actress is the role of Beth Charles in 2009 thriller, “Obsessed.”
